On Simplicity

There's a certain clarity that comes with removing the unnecessary. Not minimalism for its own sake, but a deliberate choice to focus on what matters.

The best tools are often the simplest. They do one thing well. They don't demand attention—they fade into the background, letting you focus on the work itself.

I've been thinking about this in terms of design, writing, and life. What can be removed? What's actually essential?

The answer is usually: less than you think.
